There are other structures on the complex, including the Barton House, a gardener's cottage, and a covered walkway that connects the main house to the conservatory. Wilcox Mansion is a 19th century Greek revival mansion that was originally owned by the Ansley Wilcox family, who were friends of Theodore Roosevelt. Following the assassination of President William McKinley, it was where Roosevelt was inagurated as President in 1901.
